Good.
I would assume Wisler is a likely June call-up too.

Great effort.
Dude has turned into a pitcher rather than just a thrower very quickly. Gotta give major props to Roger.
Only 94 pitches through 9 innings and 70 of them were strikes. Flat out dominant.

Miller settles for his 2nd Maddux of the year. Not bad for a pitcher who has struggled with pitch counts in the past.

I was extremely bullish on Shelby this year. He had a great second half last year. Was excited for him to work with Roger.

It was admittedly bad, we were in a position to play through it until recently when all of our pitching went lame.
We had dealt from surplus to bandaid a potential need even though I think Grichuk was a better answer.
Miller was controlled long term and always had high upside. Not smart

Some of us enjoyed this trade more than others.

he's been the stud of the rotation..
and now the Cards have Waino out for the year... but...
oh hell
WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?!!!

Cuz the punchline was awesome!
"Cards clearly won the JHey trade.
Heyward has already had 10 plus no hit games this season, miller just blew his."

The Braves outrage was also hilarity thinking they had lost the trade. Wow

Dude, Heyward would be a long and valued addition to ANY team at a reasonable salary.
Unfortunately, I don't think he and his agent understand his real worth. And *somebody* will overpay for him.
I am so, so glad it won't be the Braves.
And I highly doubt it will be the Cardinals either. Because, by the end of this year, THEY WILL UNDERSTAND.

Only the clueless Braves fans.

There was much outrage, indeed.
But not by me. I was fricking THRILLED.
Loved the Upton and Oso Blanco trades a lot too (though I was a huge Oso Blanco fan).

You always hear the majority/group think. Cards fans here get a bad rap just for 3 posters.

Yeah, the Heyward fans were little bitches about it.
The Braves fans? Not as much.
