I don't think I do either. I always got the impression that the Braves did extremely well from a tv viewing standpoint.
And then to Swamps point, how were the Braves so far off in where they valued themselves at compared to everyone else? I just don't see how a team filled with TV people (Turner/Time Warner) drops the ball so much and didn't realize how much TV rights were about to skyrocket. Not to mention how dumb it is to sign a 30yr contract and include no buyout clause.
I found an article that talks about the Braves and a national tv deal and how it could save them but I don't see how. It sounds like every team will benefit from the deal and not just us which doesn't really do anything. LINK

Bowman seems to think the Braves will land Upton and then go after Victorino or J Up for the other OF spot.

Braves aren't paying or both Upton brothers and then having to pay Heyward, Freeman, Kimbrel, among others in next few years

I"m not big on BJ Upton but Justin would be crazy but isn't he a RF. Hey if he can play LF lets do it. Sign Victorino and put him in CF. I know I'm dreaming but that would be silly good.
