I seriously am excited as hell about both of these signings. Only 1 year each and I always loved watching both these pitchers. Perfect for opening up Suntrust and watching from the new chophouse.

Colon is gonna eat innings for us and this is only a one year deal. It is clear our front office doesn't want to rush our young arms up. If Dickey and Colon pitch well they can be moved at the deadline.

Team is pretty much set. Anything can happen with Coppy at the helm but I say we sit on our prospects for one more year before opening the gates.

Signing Dickey and Colon lets the Braves give Newcomb a full season in AAA, not even consider rushing Fried. It's smart.

The best part about these guys are, if they are pitching well, we can move them at the deadline and try to steal some more prospects

The frustrating part of this team is that we have so many average-slightly above average positions right now. Sorta tough to move anyone because they're not necessarily bad in an era that we are retooling.
