Good. I hope it's Folty so we can go ahead and figure out whether he's a starter.

we are definitely trying to tank if we have 3 guys playing one position.

Either that, or we just expect a lot of lefties to pull the ball against us.

Funny you should ask...

I just got off the phone with my uncle, who works in the Braves FO, and he said he was too busy to talk because he was currently watching 'Drop Dead Fred', take that FWIW

OK for argument's sake let's assume they fire Fredi within the month (not questioning you Smartass bc I know you're always spot on)...who would the braves hire for the remainder of the season and who would they target long term?

Gabe Kapler is m #1 candidate for the job. He doesnt have a ton of coaching experience, but he has been the director of player development for the Dodgers for the past two years. He understands sabermetrics, and is a Andrew Friedman disciple. He almost got the Dodgers job this past season.

Sandy Alomar Jr, Dave Martinez, Ron Wotus, and maybe Phil Nevin would be next on my list.

I'd say the replacement would be in house, if they want someone with experience, Bo Porter would be my guess. May give Perez or TP a shot tho.

What're we bashing Freddie for tonight?
He used to get bashed hard for never bringing out his closer in a tie game late, he did it tonight and it backfired.... So are we blaming him for that?

Hopefully Folty.

Don't need to waste any of Blair's service time.

And I would like to see what we have in Folty too.

If we go with TP that will be sad, unless it's just an interim deal. Of the in house options Perez might not be terrible.
