I'm just holding out hope for
The future....
1B- Freeman
2b & Ss - Albies & Swanson
RF- enciarte
CF - Smith
C - Flowers + (another defensive minded guy)
That means they need to find a 3B and a LF on the FA/trade market, a least one of which is a power hitter
Tehran and Wisler are two solid rotation pieces. Add one mid-level innings eating FA and two
Of the many prospects....
Similar in the bullpen. Add 1-2 veteran presence guys,
Plus the best of the current guys/prospects.
If it doesn't work out, so be it....but at least it's a plan.

A lot of the Dallas media has been floating a possible trade for Teheran.
The main piece being Joey Gallo.
What you baws think about it?
I know Julio's record doesn't represent how well he's pitched, but I dont know shite about the guy.

If Texas actually offered Gallo for Teheran, then Id think that Coppy would jump all over it. I hate Gallo as a prospect, but he fits what we would want back in a trade. He'd jumpr right in and start at 3rd, and would bring in a power bat that we desperately need.

Texas is one of the few teams that need a starter that actually line up with Atlanta's needs. I like Purofar, Brinson, and Matuella, so a deal could definitely be done without Gallo.

Brinson is considered untouchable at this point, along with Mazara. A lot of people think the only trade Texas may even use Gallo for is a package for Jose Fernandez. Profar, Gallo and Dillon Tate is what people are throwing around for that deal. Hope we stay far away.

Don't want gallo. Swings and misses too much. Reminds me of Mark Reynolds. Only way we move Julio is for a Miller package

Gallo has improved his K rate dramatically and he's finally taking a few walks. He's getting there, but I don't think he's an every day starter yet.
