i was literally the first person to refer to the opposing pitcher as 'some guy' or 'some frick' (can't remember) because i was too lazy to look up who we were facing

I believe every game this year has had Braves starting pitcher vs some frick. Except.. the last time we faced Fernandez. And what did we have? 1 or 2 fricking hits? Bad mojo.

Want to vent about a pet peeve of mine...when a player gets picked off or caught stealing or trying to stretch a double into a triple and gets thrown out, and the next batter jacks one out...I hate it when the announcers and fans say "awwww frick too bad _______ got picked off"
A lot of things at work here, first is the pitcher pitching out of the stretch vs windup, second is sequence of pitches, 3rd is type of pitches weighed with defensive placement when trying to hold a runner on...in other words the batter would not be seeing the same pitches and would probably not have the same result.

Fernandez is like board walk and park place, whenever you make your way around the board that's the properties you want avoid but always seem to land on them
