Bad call.... Looked like a good clean football hit.

Someone provide a gif pls

Agreed. That was a shite call. Only reason it stood is because of the one angle where you see him make contact with the facemask.

That was pretty awful. They "confirmed" it. Lol

How the frick have we gotten to where that fricking play ejects a kid from the game? How stupid can people be?

I hate to see a kid playing his arse off and have a joke of a call make him leave the game.

They need to completely get rid of the rule. There is no such thing as a defenseless player in football. They all have pads
Posted on 9/10/16 at 12:24 pm to ReauxlTide222
Only way they could possibly justify that crap call is because he launched. No other justification for the ejection.
Posted on 9/10/16 at 12:26 pm to FiddleHead
Eh, IDK. A wide receiver running a route across the field has very little chance of protecting himself while trying to make a catch.

I turned the game off. I'm not supporting that garbage.

Yes he launched, but did not lead with his head. Football IS a physical game.
Posted on 9/10/16 at 12:28 pm to dukke v
He launched? My god. Launching is now running forward.

Mike Pereira says it was the right call. So we're all wrong guys. Sorry.

What's amazing is the call this, and miss the Texas player that helmet launched and knocked a Notre dame player out the game and cost them the win
