This rule is a complete joke. Clean big hits aren't allowed anymore. Such bullshite

Agreed. That was a shite call. Only reason it stood is because of the one angle where you see him make contact with the facemask.

They need to completely get rid of the rule. There is no such thing as a defenseless player in football. They all have pads

Only way they could possibly justify that crap call is because he launched. No other justification for the ejection.

Eh, IDK. A wide receiver running a route across the field has very little chance of protecting himself while trying to make a catch.

Yes he launched, but did not lead with his head. Football IS a physical game.

What's amazing is the call this, and miss the Texas player that helmet launched and knocked a Notre dame player out the game and cost them the win
