Terrible ending to Grizzlies/Clippers game

Less than ten seconds left shot clock less than a second away from expiring, one ref calls a charge on Bledsoe another calls a block on Allen. Somehow this results in a jump ball and to add insult to injury the ball is thrown poorly. 
I hate to complain about refs but who the hell calls a blocking foul with the shot clock about to expire?

Way too many charge calls lately. Seems like everything now is a charge.
I say reward aggressive moves to the goal. Someone sliding beneath an offensive player in the air is weak sauce.

Maybe when they actually have a clear view of the play. And the more experienced ref with a better view doesn't make the opposite call.

As a Hornets fan I can't complain too much, but there is a reason players and such tweet about how awful that female referee is, and it isn't because she is the opposite sex.

Refs shouldn't call blocking fouls when the shot clock is about to expire?

Just imagine what would happen if Violet Palmer and Dick Bavetta tried to make a call at the same time. All hell would break loose.
