Have you watched Tebow play? If so how can you say this? It's all speculation!

How's he being selfish? If the Jets wanted him or needed him maybe it could be construed that way. Not in this case though IMO.

We are told he is such an asset in the locker room, all the guys respect him and play for him. Why not keep him on the bench for his intangibles?

Because he has a pretty hefty salary for a guy who would only be bringing that to the team.

Good point.

It makes me wonder why people think he is getting a bad deal. He is extremely well paid for a backup. Most people would kill to be a backup qb... Your payed to watch games from the sideline and your the most popular player on the team. ( at LSU at least)

Game managers don't beat a #1 ranked defense in a playoff game.

I would love to have him on the Steelers. There would be no pressure to make him the starter because the Steelers have a franchise quarterback. But we also have a mediocre red zone offense. Tebow could line up in wildcat packages, or next to Big Ben in the backfield. It would make the offense unpredictable and hard to defend. Plus the Steelers need some player leadership. With Hines Ward gone, the Young Money Crew has turned into a bunch of boneheads. Maybe Tebow can get their heads back into the game.

Ryan Clark. 2-3 starters got hurt in the 2nd Q IIRC.
