on a 96 MPH fastball!
Why he even sees any of these is perplexing.

So happy Tebowmania has been resurrected.

Because pitchers at that level all have gas. I would imagine that very few of them have well developed breaking stuff

You telling me Jesus Christ can't hit a curve ball?

What is his batting avg now? One of my gator friends said he it was .167 after the first day but I didn't think there was anyway he got 6 at bats and went 1 for 6 with a HR?

Why would you throw Tim anything but breaking balls- everyone knows that he's an elite natural athlete even among professional athletes-- its like if any of you have ever seen a football player at a Pro Am-- most of them are huge off the tee, its all the other stuff thats almost comical to watch.

Well if that were accurate he'd be 2-8,
.250, 1 HR, 2 RBIs
.250, 1 HR, 2 RBIs

But lo did the sphere curve for it was beset by wickedness.

I fully expect you to keep up the pace. A thread per RBI.

Tebow's 2nd game was more productive with 2 hits and a walk

When's a reasonable expectation to see him hit his first major leage HR? Could he get a chance this post season when they do their call ups?

I see that you haven't paid attention to Major League Baseball in a very long time.

I haven't either. And something tells me my investment portfolio which consists of 112 Gregg Jeffries rookie cards, won't be enough to retire on.

It's amazing how many people don't understand how pro baseball works. When my brother got drafted in like the 28th round, there were people from our hometown that legit thought that meant he was just going to go straight from D2 Playoffs to closing games from the Blue Jays.
Not a shot at the guy who posted earlier about playoff call ups... It was just kind of funny how many sports fan didn't know how it worked.

I have no idea how it works. Don't the rosters expand at some point during the season?
Posted on 9/29/16 at 4:24 pm to StrongBackWeakMind
There's a 40 man roster through spring training that will feature 40 non-Tim Tebow's unless he finishes instructs batting .750

nah. Have a cousin at the AA level his fastball has never gotten close to 96. He's 92-93 at best. There's pitchers of all types in the minors, the ones that have great fastballs get to the majors a little quicker. What they don't have in the instructional league is location and consistency or the acumen to remember how to pitch guys to pigeon hole them into their weaknesses.
