Last few weeks have been having issues with my irons...consistently hitting the ball off the toe, even when I have the ball at the heel at address.

Played a round yesterday(first time in over two months) and bombed most of my drives on the longer holes, but just not striking the ball well at all on most iron shots and losing considerable distance. Gonna hit a bucket this afternoon after work. Give me some tips.

Take all your change and put it in your left pocket. If that doesn't work, take a golf tee and put it behind your ear.

Start by checking your alignment and that you're not reaching for the ball at address. Your arms should be hanging straight down at address

Keep your arms extended at impact, you may be pulling them closer to your body (or left field) at the bottom of the swing.

It sounds sophomoric, but try to feel like you are swinging more to the right (assuming you are a right handed golfer).

I've had this problem. Two things cause this.

On downswing you aren't uncoiling your wrist. Not getting your wrist back to impact position will have club face really open at Impact so you either flip which most flips put toe in ground or you swing more inside which puts toe on ball.

Take a video of your swing and see where your hands are at address and where they are at impact. If your hands move too far inside at impact you do the latter of those two. The practice is just feeling your downswing on path with ur takeaway.

If yoyr hands are not too far inside at impact you do the first. You need to practice hitting hooks for a bucket. Getting the feel of how get that face closed.

Irons may also be too flat for you.

Here's a tip: go pay for lessons.

Nobody on here knows what you're doing since they can't see your swing, despite what they may think.

Plan on getting a lesson in few weeks...once it warms up enough. A couple of ideas definitely sound like things I may/may not be doing correctly...not fully extending the arms at impact/pulling my arms into the body during the downswing. Gonna concentrate on keeping my arms extended and make sure that I'm not reaching out at address.
