And has made 7 of 10 on fadeway 3's

Curry's ability to hit fadeaway 3-pointers, a shot requiring extreme accuracy and balance, is remarkable. He has made 7 of 10 so far this season, and the rest of the league combined managed only 28 before Saturday's games -- so Curry accounts for 20 percent of them by himself. According to NBAsavant.com, only two players have hit more than one (Chris Paul and Brandon Rush both have two). And last season, when Curry set the previous 3-pointer record, he hit exactly one fadeaway outside the arc. Strangely, his most common type of 3 (the standard jumper) accounts for most of his makes and attempts but he only shoots 39 percent on them (shooting 171 of 438). On pullups, however, he shoots a jaw-dropping 67 percent (80 of 120).

The rest of the NBA from 30+ feet this season entering Saturday: 53-669 (7.9%)

The 90s bad boys would talk about his mom and he would be a worse version of Reggie Miller. It is so simple. I can't believe the they 31 coaches in the NBA don't just talk to Charles Barkley and Oscar And figure it out

Statistically, Stephen Curry is so efficient this month (71.4 TS%) that every shot he takes is basically equivalent to a LeBron layup.
dude sucks

In b4 some dumbass ex-NBA player tries to downplay Curry's legendary shooting ability and all around talent

Good God those are horrible numbers.

I'm convinced that Curry sold his soul to the devil after all those ankle injuries. He's gonna get 5 elite years and suck after that. 5 championships in a row then fall from stardom/grace in a blazing inferno.

Makes as much sense as my "developed mutant abilities after taking something to heal ankles- can now direct ball into basket purely with his mind, misses shots to throw people off the trail" explanation--
I'm not saying he's better than Jordan or Lebron careerwise-- but let's be honest anyone else takes that shot last night and people start hating early and often, Steph takes it and you just assume its going in.
Like if he pulled up at the midcourt circle and did one of those J.R. Smith heat check shots (like John Starks or Nick Van Exel did back in the day)-- I'd probably be like "well, I mean if he's open a 45 footer is understandable"

It's what one can do when they don't play defense.

So in the history of the NBA is Curry the only player that doesn't face defense or play it ? If I had 10,000 downvotes I would give them all to your gump arse

I have read all these posts comparing him to others and his team to other teams. In my opinion....
To me, Jordan is the greatest. Those Bulls teams were great. I watched himlay all the time. I knew that no matter the score, the Bulls would make a come back and win. It made the game more exciting for me. I haven't felt like that about a team until now. Golden State can win every game. Watching them excites me because they are never out of it. No matter what era you grew up watching, or who you think is the best, this GS team brings excitement like the Bulls did. I enjoy watching this team play.

If he'd stay off Augusta National, he might could get above 70%.
