I agree.
They've pigeonholed themselves. It would be a bad look after all this shite to say "sooooooo we're not testing for marijuana anymore."

You don't even have to announce it. Just stop suspending them

I agree. Word would get out but any blowback would be minimal and short lived.
ETA: Not so much blowback, as reporting asking annoying questions.

I might go on a Wire binge this weekend. First weekend in a while where I don't have shite to do.

Recently watched it for the first time, still got 5 episodes left or something like that but I'm in the middle of moving so it got put on the backburner
I ran through the first 4 and a half seasons in about 2-3 weeks tho

One of the greatest offenses, potentially (and on paper), is slowing being torn apart. Losing Leveon Bell and Martavis Bryant takes a lot away from Pittsburgh's offense.
Oh well, more passes to Antonio Brown. He might catch 150 in 2016.

Green about to get a ton of work too

There's still:
Brown
Wheaton
Heyward-Bey (who's played quite well in Pittsburgh)
Coates
Green
Williams
That's still a pretty potent offense. Even if they lose Bell, at worst the Steelers split the first 4.
And if the defense makes the strides they did towards the end of last season, they could still be in great shape.

It's not nearly as potent as before. There's no way around it.
It could've gone down as one of the greatest in NFL history, IMO. Not anymore.

It didn't last year. Martavis is always boom or bust, and Wheaton is still a solid #2 WR. They actually have a vertical TE now, which Ben has never had.
And the offense didn't really skip a beat with Deangelo last year. They should still be top 5 in offensive yards after 4 weeks.

Sure maybe not for the first 4 games, but with Bell back, Pittsburgh still would have the best offense in the AFC.

Well the NFL relies on a federal government anti-trust exemption to make billions of dollars from tv broadcasting. The federal government also considers marijuana illegal.
If each team is earning 226.4 million dollars a year, would you really want to risk that?
