Tebow became irrelevant and LeBron started winning championships.

All 4 major sports have their own networks now. All of them feature better highlites packages.

As someone else said before, ESPN has gone the way of TMZ, basically gearing themselves to the lowest common denominator.

And now NFL AM on nfl network is having a panel discussion on which Rolling Stones song best predicts the 2013 NFL season because its mick Jagger's birthday.

It's espn-esque

I turned on SC to see a story about how Danica Patrick is influencing 8yr old go kart racers. Who gives a shite? They don't care about teams anymore its all about which teams have the most "interesting" individuals. It's the E channel for men.

I blame the Favre retirement obsession...after that crap it stayed with the same soap opera / TMZ format and I stopped tuning in.

This only thing worse than sportscenter is local news sports.

Sounds like others have finally realized that ESPN is all staged BS to pump their agenda. If there is not a ballgame on, I will not be watching espn. I will not even listen to those hacks during halftime. Perhaps, its from being a fan of a team that is no media darling. I am sure Bama, USC, Michigan/OSU etc. fans love it?? Not me though.

They should do a wide world of sports type thing. I'd watch that. At least it'd be live sports and not that talk show crap they show all the time.

I don't give a shite about them one way or the other. When I want to see Cardinals highlights I go online. Once a year I make the mistake of tuning in to ESPiN for them and get tired of waiting past the 30 minute mark after the nightly NYY/Red Sox blowjobs and shite about some "social justice" or other and then I don't do it again.

It's kind of like Pancho's Mexican buffet - every once in a while you have to go back and remind yourself why it sucks.

I watch ESPN for live games and College Gameday and occasionally MNF and that's about it. I also watch it late at night after college football/basketball Saturdays because they are really the only channel showing highlights of most of the games that were on that day.

But they have a new soccer news show coming out soon so I will probably watch that, since their coverage of soccer is actually pretty good. Not on SportsCenter when they show the odd soccer highlight and the anchors have no idea what is going on, but on the pre game coverage of the games they do show.

I hate ESPN but I love them for showing every sec game on TV. It's bittersweet.

I watch PTI and live games that's it. I do not like shows where they read a teleprompter instead of just joke around like Inside the NBA or PTI.

Their college football coverage is the only thing that's halfway decent.

And that has taken a drastic trip down the dumper. They hired Andre Ware for CFB.... Andre Ware. He could barely do color analysis for 11am games, he can't carry a daily talk show.
