Great news!

I'm sure that 3 against the Pels in game 3 to send it to OT was the clincher

While Curry has it he should get it over with and carve "Anthony Davis" on there repeatedly.

There is no reason Curry shouldn't win the award. I will not be upset at all. Ideally, the award would have been given to Curry and Harden, but I will be plenty happy with the NBA Championship.

You were pretty confident this Houston team wouldn't make it past the first round. I invite you to keep doubting.

im not trolling but serious question... do you really believe houston can win the championship? I see them as the 4-5th best team at best. Cavs, warriors, grizz, clippers.. maybe bulls even better.

Vegas gives Houston the third best odds to win the championship.

interested to see 2nd through 5th in voting. harden will be 2nd. i'm guessing westbrook will probably finish 3rd, either CP or LeBron 4th, the other 5th, AD 6th?

Of course they can. First of all, I don't think the Bulls are better, neither are the Grizzlies in my opinion. They are pretty even with the Clippers but that match-up seems to give them trouble.

I think they are also as good as the Cavs this year and could beat them in the Finals if they got there.

The Warriors are the only team I would say are better than the Rockets. But in a series, who knows would could happen?

Plus, the Rockets don't have to play all of those teams.

Beat the Clippers, which they are capable of doing, and they get the Warriors.

Win and you're in the Finals. I don't know if they would beat the Warriors, as the Warriors are the better team... but who knows?

If they made it past the Warriors, I think they could beat the Cavs assuming they made it out of the East.

I mean, it's certainly not silly to think the Rockets could win it all. They had the 3rd best record in the NBA this year... the 2nd best in the brutal West.

I'm not saying they will win it all... but it's not some silly notion. They're a really good team.

Hey look. RTR is being a bitch again. Do I need to make a you a flow chart of how this thread went wrong. James Harden and the Houston Rockets were mentioned by other posters. Period.

That is a blatant lie. You directly referred to James harden. Just cause you didn't say his name doesn't mean you weren't the one to bring him up.

But also lol at the dude calling the grizz and bulls better than houston

I'm sorry. How crazy of me to reference the other player that has been considered for the award and not even by name. The fact that it was clear who the other guy was says it all. He has been in the MVP conversation all year. The actual discussion only started when other fans acted like we were butthurt when we weren't at all. Curry has had a very deserving year.

Was Kerr discussed when Bud won Coach of the Year?
Draymond when Kawhi won DPOY?

The Houston Rockets, being very successful this year, are going to come up in casual NBA talk. Apologies to fans of less accomplished teams this year.
