I wouldn't even wish what happened to them on anyone, even Alabama. They went from best non-BCS school to worst team in FBS in one season.

Bad coaching, bad recruiting, and after 1 losing season, financially broke (despite 20 straight winning seasons).
A guy like Monken is someone you hire when you have players (which I think they thought they had)....nothing in his resume says he'll be able to do a total rebuild job.
It's sad. But it won't be easy for them to return to glory.
