She is an absolute freak of a horse. No way she will get beat in the Kentucky Oaks. Horse is the best I've seen since Personal Ensign

I was in Vegas during the Breeders Cup last year, I handicapped the BC on the plane and thought that horse was the best in it's race of any of the races. Of course she was 1-2 or something like that

They need to run her in the Derby - it looks like a pretty mediocre group.
They owe it to racing to run her against some real competition.

Anyone know why Songbird was in the Oaks race and not the Derby race?
Trakus for the Derby, Exaggerator came from 10 lengths back at one time. I love Desormeaux's sandbagging style and pushing every ounce out of the horse in the last third. He lays back then explodes the horse.

Desormeaux just did it again winning his 3rd stakes race of the day. He held back 4-5 lengths until just before the final turn and blasted to the finish line going away.

Porter is still spooked by the Eight Belles thing. No way she runs in the Derby. Perhaps the Haskell. I dont believe California can fill the 3 year old filly division. Mother Goose is an option at Belmont but that's been complete crap for a while. It's very early in her 3 year old season. Let's enjoy her right now because she is very special.

She has ZERO Derby points. Just want to point that out to anyone asking why she's not running in the Derby.

Yeah. Not a great group of colts at all...

Hope to see her in person one day. Too bad Rachel's Valentina had to be born the same year...

I said the same thing about Frosted last year. A smart way of thinking, Aspercel

First let me say I know you are not implying this but does anyone think Eight Belles broke down just because she was racing the boys ?

I forgot about the last future pool. Was gonna put $2 on creator. Hope he runs big next week. He's gorgeous.

There will be money made at the derby this year I think. Pretty wide open race.

Husband is neighbors with Nyquist and says he's a very sweet horse. Glad he finally made it back to the track today.

All the idiots who know nothing and the media.

I still have my win bet I made on her. I hated big brown.

Nope. She was inexperienced at pulling up. Larry Jones always called her the ugly duckling. He knew exactly what he was doing and woulda won the oak with or without eight belles. She took a bad step after. I know exactly what happened. She really belonged in that race

Don't forget her breeding.

I've always been an unbridled's song hater.

I saw an unbridled's song out of a mr Greeley mare not too long ago. Talk about a skeleton made of glass

I had to go back and watch replays of most races today. The carter was damn exciting!
