Sorry, ULM

McNeese Baseball Twitter

McNeese kicking the crap out of ULM right now. 29 runs in 5 innings.

Anyone know if ULM just stinks?

15 runs in the fifth.

I thought I misheard that when they talked about it on the LSU broadcast.

Justin Hill, former LSU pitcher and current McNeese St. head coach, has that program headed in the right direction.

Indeed. He's been great for the program. Brought in energy and now bringing the wins.

Called off the dogs according to Chandler Rome. Put in the bench and told them not to advance beyond 1st on a hit.

Not a fan of the pity game though. They have a mercy rule. Play ball.

His dad is from the same town I am from, know him well. Justin is a good person and has worked very hard to get where he is.

He was the District 2-5A mvp his senior year at West Monroe, but couldn't get offers, so he went to juco. At BPCC, he struck out 17 or 19 (would have to look it up) in a playoff game, and somebody got in Skip's ear about it. He invited Justin and his dad down to throw a bullpen and then offered him a scholarship that day. It was a pretty cool sequence of events.

Well, hopefully he's the next Robichaux talent-wise, but this time McNeese can hold on to him.

Have there been a shitload of errors and walks? Or is McNeese just hitting everything?

The great thing McNeese has going for it is a pretty good pull of talent in that city. Those fuggin LC kids know how to play the game.

3 errors by ULM, but 27 hits by McNeese.

Must be ULL fans lurking and downvoting. Go figure.

Shocking because University of Louisville is really good in baseball usually.

27 hits is impressive. I'm a ULL fan but definitely not down voting anything in this thread

Uh, Warhawks just scored. Might want to update your thread so people don't get the wrong idea. 31-4 after 8. Talons out, bitches.

Don't be surprised if he's the next ULM coach. He's definitely better than the current guy and it's home.

Cowboys win 32-4. Tied for most runs in the NCAA this year.

Nicholls beats ULL
SELA beats Tulane
UNO beats LSU

Good day for the Southland. Other three wins are no doubt more impressive over better teams, but 32 runs is frickin nuts against anyone.
