They've made the Playoffs!

The Panthers didn't clinch a playoff berth with their win over the Colts on Monday, but they might as well have because if NFL history is any indication, the Panthers are a lock to make the playoffs this year.

Carolina's 29-26 win over the Colts improved the Panthers to 7-0 on the season and 7-0 means good things in the NFL.

During the Super Bowl era, 32 teams started the season 7-0 before 2015 and all 32 of those teams have one thing in common: They all made the playoffs. Every single one.

Must suck for your only goal to be making the playoffs.

I remember the Redskins starting out 7-1 back in 96 or 97...

Missed the playoffs.

Congrats? Considering 9-7 usually gets you in I hope they could finish 2-7.

The 2009 Denver Broncos thought the same thing when they became the first team to go 6-0 and miss the playoffs.
Hope the Panthers choke and go on a losing streak like they did last year.
Regardless, they still can't win a playoff game

They also lost the Super Bowl to one of those other 7-0 teams.

Since y'all aren't going to make the playoffs this year, what are y'al's goals? Retain Payton before Indy takes him? 2nd place in the NFC South?

The NFC South Division Champion, Panthers, won their last 4 games of the Reg Season? We've won 11 consecutive Reg Season games.

No they didn't.

The Patriots didnt make Kasey kick the ball out of bounds with the lead.

If Luke McCown took y'all to the woodshed at home, I can't wait to see what a playoff QB does.

It's Bill Belichick, we can't be certain of anything. He could've slipped an improperly inflated ball for that kickoff, everything he's ever done is suspect.
