.394 OBP
11 SB 1 CS
21 Runs in 21 games started

pretty damn good.

He has a higher OPS (786) than every Astro starter besides Rasmus (788), and would have the higest OBP on the team by far

That's what you want, of course. To "hurt" Astros fans. You are dedicated to the cause, I'll give you that.

I love facts. Like the only one that matters right now.

Most wins in the American League
1.) Astros

Delino Deshields has been great

Kinda starting to feel that he gives us a better chance of winning than Leonys. I get a little bummed when he's not in the lineup.

Gotta love it

3/4 of the Astros lineup is inconsistent as frick yet they still have 30 wins. So when they start hitting their career averages, the Astros will somehow get worse. Makes sense.

Prince Fielder is on a tear.

This is the surprise of the season. He was clearly on tDecline the last two seasons. Whatever that surgery did, worked great. Definitely early favorite for Comeback POTY, maybe MVP anyone?

Finally a closer not named Feliz.

And the Angels be paying for them. Though his last AB last night was a hard hit ball that just was hit right to the 1B.

What a zing. A team is paying a player to suck for their division rival.

It's so odd the things that are working for this team. Who would've thunk it that freaking Ross Ohlendorf and Shawn Tolleson would be the pieces to change the bullpen?

You also have to think that this team is doing this with 3/5 of their rotation missing in Darvish, Holland and Perez (debatable with Martinez for the final spot)

Like Lester pointed out also, it's about time that DeShields becomes our everyday CF

And I'm not ready to grade Hamilton just yet but anything he brings is an improvement.

This is obviously a small sample size, but I was happy with an outfield consisting of DeShields/Martin/Choo. I hope Hamilton is an improvement, but that's not a certainty.

I thought I heard somewhere that DeShields can play 2B. If so, putting him in for Field could make for a terrific lineup.

He was considered below average defensively at 2nd.

i don't think its totally out of line for career .230 or .210 hitters to slump for a prolonged period of time. Even if it's over a whole season.
