So, Terrell Davis is a Hall of Famer but Shaun Alexander isn't?

This seems like an injustice of epic proportions.

Shaun rushed for more career yards, more TDs, 1x MVP, broke record for most rushing TDs in a season (then).

Hell, Priest Holmes did it longer and had more yards and receiving yards. More TDs.

This smells of John Elway bullshite.

I remember when Alexander became a huge cuck with no leg drive and couldn't beat a single CB or FS on a 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1

TD was a 2-time SB champion and was more responsible for them winning than Elway. If he didn't blow out his knee, he would have broken Emmitt's rushing record not long after Emmitt had broken it.

Alexander benefitted from a great offensive line. A dozen or so other tailbacks from that era could have played on those Seattle squads and got similar production.

That's bullshite standard. Denver under Shannahan had a zone blocking scheme that for about 10 years plugged and played people like Olandis Gary. If having a good offensive line is notch against you, then it hasn't been applied equally.

You do realize that before TD tore up his knee that he only had 4405 rushing yards in the previous seasons. Emmitt Smith ended up with 18,355 rushing yards.

Assuming TD continued to average 1,469 yards/season, he still would have needed 9.5 more seasons to get to Emmitt's career rushing yards.

Not saying Davis would have done this but your numbers are wrong.

First 4 years stats (year 5 ACL/MCL injury)

Terrell Davis 6413 yds 56 tds 4.8 ypc 105.1 ypg

Emmitt Smith 5699 yds 50 tds 4.5 ypc 91.9 ypg

If Davis Played 11 more years, as Smith did, he would have to average 1086 yards per year to eclipse Emmitt.

10 years would take an average of 1195 yards per season
9 years 1327 yards per season average
8 years 1493 yards per season average

But actually playing that long in a relevant way is uncommon, so Emmitt deserves props for that. And I hate the Cowboys, for the record, and was never a TD fan either.

No matter how many times you use "cuck" or whine that the media mistreats "swaggy white bros", you'll never be able to erase your vote for Obama.

Not even close. Davis played 4 years then had an ACL and MCL injury. Never played more than 8 games a season after that (4,5,8)

This smells of being one of 7 guys who rushed for over 2000 yards in a season. Guys who did it before him, OJ Simpson, Eric Dickerson, Barry Sanders.

Jamal Lewis ran for 2000 yards. So did Chris Johnson. Neither will make the HOF

Terrell Davis in the HOF is going to cause many, many arguments like this over the years.

He will become the benchmark of questonable HOF inductees.

How is TD's selection any worse than Kurt Warner getting in? Both are in based on a short window of dominance and being incredible postseason performers. Difference is Warner had a short peak because he was ineffective/inconsistent during the middle portion of his career while TD's career was cut short by injury.

Idk about the elway reference?

You are right otherwise though. He belongs in the hall of very good.

TO belongs in the hall. He served his time. How many years has he been eligible now?
