I'm not sure what surprises me more.

That we're having an outdoor superbowl in the north this year.
Or that it hasn't happened sooner.

This is the NFL, after all.

If the saints don't play in it I hope it is a clusterfrick of epic proportions. I want to see 40 mph wind gusts and driving snow/rain mix.

If that's what "real" football is then I want it really fricking real.

I disagree. I love football in the snow and cold weather.

Dome football bores me

Nothing better than a game in December/January in Lambeau or Soldier field. Adds an extra element to the game

I completely agree. I have loved the Meadowlands idea ever since it was announced.

I agree. I'm not going so I hope it's something that makes the Ice Bowl look like Hawaii in July.

That would make for some awesome television.

Same. Dome football does nothing for me. Reminds me of some arena league shite

Nothing excites me more than potentially seeing Brees and Manning throw with 30 mph winds

I don't mind games in a dome, but football was designed to be an all weather/temperature sport and is why I think the Super Bowl should be played in all types of climates and environments.

The Saints will struggle in those conditions. Goodell's plan is working perfectly.
