Damn.

What a choke job.

At least he had a big 1Q to make his stats look decent.

That's not as bad as last game; he started 5/7 and ended up 7/24. It seems to be a fairly consistent trend with him; he starts strong then regresses throughout the game.

The entire game changed on the clothesline from Mirotic.

And Lebron owns the Bulls the same way MJ owned Cleveland.

Yep. Almost like the Bulls knew they couldnt win the game and were frustrated and just gave up. I thought the Cavs would win, but for the Bulls to lay down like that. wow

That's why I think people talking about Thibs as a bad fit for the Pels bc of this offensive performance are mistaken. Obviously Davis is much better than Rose as an overall player, but even just on the offensive end Davis >>>Rose. Thibs proved in 2011 and 2012 that he can craft and elite team out of defense and a true one superstar led offense

He was still probably their leading scorer during that stretch.

I think criticism of Thibs is unwarranted. His "superstar" is hurt every single year. He came into these playoffs with Rose just getting healthy and having no time to mesh with the team after a long layoff due to injury. Gasol and Noah are both hurt. Yeah the Cavs are just as banged up, but they have the best player on the planet as a leader and he is just fine. Thibs has been the victim of the LeBron James era in the East and has always had a lesser talented team. Had Gasol not have gotten injured and Rose come back a month prior to when he did, I think we see a different outcome considering Love is still out with injury. Pels would be well served should they hire him this offseason.

Lebron shot 40% for the series. Offense from both teams for the most part was just bad.

Wouldn't really call it a choke.

Rose is a shell of his former self. I think he's actually played better than expected in this series considering his injuries and the short rest between each game.

That's because Kyrie went to the bench and Matty started guarding him. Belebedova just seems to frustrate him.
