quote:

"With these teams right now, they're saying us and Golden State are the super teams, and they're trying not to build that many super teams, and [commissioner] Adam Silver came out with the statement and this and that," Rose said during a recent interview with NBA.com.

That statement is accurate if the Knicks have a time machine and put Melo, D.Rose and Noah from 5 years ago together.

his boys told him that.

Carmelo, Rose, Porzingas, and French pony tail.

if Rose and pony tail were 6 years younger, and Carmelo was two years younger, and Porzingas was one year older, then sure, they would be competitive with LeBron's team and GSW.

(edited to delete personal references so my marriage lasts the weekend).

Rose and pony tail won't play 62 games of 30 minutes or more together.
Rose might not last two weeks if he plays 30 minutes a game.

They don't even have one 'super' player, much less a 'super' team.

If by next year you mean the upcoming season, I agree. They have a solid nucleus. No objective person would call them super, but they could be very competitive. I think Phil has made a big step forward.

When D. Rose's number is retired (or if), they'll just hang one of his suits from the rafters.

To me Noah is one of the best leaders in the league. If he's out there playing his teammates will be playing hard alongside him. Wasn't a surprise to me that the Bulls had their first bad season in a long time when he was hurt.
