Tom House, the country’s leading sports biomechanics whiz, agreed with Lippincott’s take. He had his own example of a budding-tennis-star-turned-QB — his own first football prote´ge´, Drew Brees. The New Orleans Saints star used to beat Andy Roddick when they were tykes in the Texas tennis youth scene.

I remember when she was dating Lavar Arrington. Their kid would have been recruited in the crib.

But yes, I do think starting tennis at a young age exponetially helps with sports development. The hand eye coordination with body control pays off dearly at a young age. Now, as you get older that evens out but it gives a significant advantage. I remember when we started kids pitch I was light years ahead of my peers in terms of hand eye coordination
