And last year's rankings supported the opposite.

Klatts theory debunked.

Heard Pat Forde say basically the same thing on the radio earlier today. Highly likely Barry Alvarez and Tom Osborne look at teams like Baylor and TCU as interlopers playing BS football.

"OK State actually played better defensively than Alabama"

Gave up 600 yds to TCU.

"But points per pos"

What a joke.

Efficiency and points per possession is a much better way to measure spread team defenses. What's hard to understand?

Briles mentioned this last year. Believes there should be younger members on the committee.

Compared to Alabama, in your opinion, how would Ok St look against Fournette?

This is a checkers/chess argument

Probably about the same as Bama would look against Boykin.

One of the greatest coaches of all time, and arguably the most respected defensive mind in the game (cfb), dialed up one of the better games of his career.

But, somehow, Oklahoma St allowing 600 yds of offensive production to TCU is "better defensively"

Agree to disagree.

I don't know man, I can't really see OK State completely shutting LF7 down...

I did not watch the video and the argument that OK State played better defensively than Bama IMO is not right. However, it is not as absurd as you are making it out to be because LSU played right into the hands of Bama to help with that; and you using the yardage stat to point out the argument is flawed because of that is dumb and you probably did not watch that game. TCU ran like 100+ plays
