Shouldn't the NFL be the testers of concussion technology, why is LSU on the

I'm more disappointed with how Michael Bonnette doesn't know when to use "affect" and "effect."

Actually it is because of Jeff Boss that LSU is lead of helmet and footwear technology. Mr Boss for years tried to convince me that snapping AHI hats down low were best way to prevent helmet from coming off, that is why you never saw them wear them all high until 3 snaps or Revos came into fashion.
Also Wayne State is where most NOCSAE studies are done.

Concussions have that affect on people.

The problems is that every study to this date has shown there is no correlation between the magnitude of the shot to the head and concussions.

Probably because the NFL is a non profit

Well considering that a lot of the damage to the brain may already be done by the time one gets to the NFL, why shouldn't universities be at the forefront of this.

studies like this have been going on for decade+
usually u get a company who claims they have made some break through, by putting this in the helmet, and teams go out and buy them, and its barely better than the last helmet.
When u have collisions at full speed, it doesnt matter what u have on, ur neck and head are made of bones, tissue, etc. Not steel.
using helmet as a tackling device has been a huge reason for concussions, neck ,and spinal injuries. Guys put their heads down and lead with helmet, then they fricked or got lucky. keep trying ur luck and u will be a cripple, or brains made of mush.

Quick Google search says the NFL implemented something similar already and were expected to expand it, but the tech wasn't there yet and didn't provide useful data for head and neck injuries
2 teams did it for half of 2013. They started testing in 2010
Jags implemented it in 2010
