Should the Texans draft a QB?

There is a lot of QB talent coming in this next draft class. There will be future starters available outside of the top 10 picks, which is good for a team like the Texans.

Guys like Mettenberger, Murray, Manziel, Thomas, etc, will all most likely be there for their pick (wherever it may be; I'm thinking 18-22 range) in the first round, or even in the 2nd.

This team is really strong at just about every position outside of QB and maybe safety. Is it viable for them to use their first round pick on a QB? They could even trade up and take a top guy if they really wanted to..

The Johnny Football to the Texans cries will be louder than the Vince Young to the Texans cries back in '06.

I'm not laughing at you, cause some team will waste a 1st rounder on him. Likely the same team that wasted one on Gabbert. There are some truly lazy GMs out there

The majority of Houstonians knew he wasn't the answer for going on 3 years now. Man, this was embarrassing tonight.

I would love ZM on Houston. Although I don't know if Kubs is the right guy for him in the NFL

Mett would be a pretty good fit for the Texans offense.

VY's uncle was one of the best things to ever happen to Houston sports radio.

That sound bite never gets old.

Hope Johnny football is long gone before the Texans draft (which is beginning to look like it will be much earlier than originally thought). A dynamic, play-making qb is not a fit for Kubiak's blah offensive scheme.

Why can't the Texans try T.J. Yates again?

He wasn't terrible two year ago.

Schaub is done. They should clean house including the front office and head coach and start over. Their window closed before it even really opened with the Colts having Luck fall into their laps.

Seems a bit of a stretch. They're a pretty complete team outside of QB.

Yes. They should draft two of them in case they screw up the first one.

This team doesn't have many holes but QB play is awful.
