Should the Rockets have a * by their championshipships?

Jordan was retired so they never went against the best. They beat some mediocre teams in the finals in the Knicks and young Magic.

He played really well in the series, they had trouble containing Shaq. The Rockets also had this big guy who was decent who I think would have posed problems for the Bulls

Every finals winner since Jordan retired should have an "*".
If he was able to play well into his 40's, 50' and 60', no team would have a ring....

Well why don't we just put an "*" near every NBA champion since 1999 and before 1991 since apparently no team could beat any MJ's Bulls either.
The point is that everyone metaphorically jacks off to peak MJ in the 90's, but forgets everything before 1991 and the fact that a young Magic team whooped him in 95.
Rockets deserved their 94, 95 championships outright.

I'm a Redskin fan and we won 2 Super Bowls during strike shortened seasons. Nobody tries to put asterisks next to those seasons. When people do bring it up, I just brush them off. Cause its a stupid thing to fall back on. Rockets were champions period. People don't like it, then they should have stopped them..
