We get this question all the time and it's beyond dumb.
Nola is way, way too small, has no public transportation, is poor as shite, doesn't have the infrastructure, the crime level is outrageous, and it would be during hurricane season.
But our government is corrupt enough.

That's not necessarily an obstacle. The Winter Games are a different year sdo the Summer Games could be in May.
But NOLA still doesn't have the infrastructure. You would need to build a lot if venues, plus build a new Superdome or renovate the existing one just for a two-week event. You also need an Oky!pic Village which will create a glut of condos in the Warehouse District after the Games are over.

It would be a complete sh*t show, and interfere with the Saints preseason games.
We would have to play our preseason home games in Shreveport (probably vs Dallas) and Jackson (probably vs Titans), which, hey, that's actually a good idea.
