So Waino is cleared, Yadi's season is in jeopardy, Grichuk in the lineup again, and still waiting for Holliday and Adams to be regulars again. This is a big week for the Cards they need to take care of business against the Reds and Brewers and pad the division lead.

Yeah, Waino is cleared to resume full baseball activities. Its going to take him some time to ramp it up but I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibilities he is in the pen for the first series.
Sounds like Yadi's injury is more minor...hopefully...
Getting guys back is important, that Molina injury could be real bad depending on how long he is out.

Not that it means a whole hell of a lot but I was watching intentional talk and Millar said Yadi will be able to play. He said they'll build something like a cast basically inside his glove for the thumb and that he could keep the thumb off the bat and be fine. Hopefully that's what can happen and the rest he gets this week helps. Just hang on and win this damn division.

Dont know whats going to happen. Mo doubled down on the pitching by not adding a bat at the deadline thinking this staff was going to continue its record pace.
Just dont think its a solid strategy. I get we are getting guys back of the DL but the offense is just bad and relies on a staff to come out and toss 1-3 run games to win. Not realistic IMO.
Guess we will see but Im not projecting a long playoff run for the Cards at this point.

Piscotty is our 2nd half MVP, no way he doesn't play ahead of Grichuk at this point.
