Id rather have williams in the 2nd game. its a 1 run game that we're winning, put in the capable pitchers.

So can anyone explain why this game is blacked out on MLB Network in Byhalia, ms? It's bad enough that STL is blacked out at 5+ hours away, but this is ridiculous.

Y'all got any injury updates? I saw Walden was put on the 60-Day DL. Looks like other than Heyward for one season we didn't get crap in return for Shelby.

I know. But I'd be more worried about bullpen throwing a lot of innings yesterday with no rainout. Garcia made a dumb baserunning mistake there.

Blackout rules are so idiotic. In Iowa there are 6-7 teams that get blacked out.

do not make a trade for a rental or some low hanging fruit.
Sell and buy.
Get rid of Rosie, there is a market and he still has value. And if you can make a bigger deal, put Wacha in there. I think Wacha has peaked, and continues to get hit around. His last start, he was lucky to not give up 6 or 7 runs. They were hitting him hard, but at people.
And if some one wants a veteran bat, sell Holliday.

That was probably Mozeliak's worst trade. Should have just signed Markakis. At least Scrubs are stuck with Heyward now.

I think you are right. Saw Weaver and Bader play in minors. They probably will be in the majors next year.

An underrated bad trade was barraclough for cishek. Cishek was terrible and bear claw jumped from like high a with the cardinals to mlb with the Marlins and has been a mainstay in their bullpen. Not a world beater, but better than cishek.
