Well look at it this way, he can't do any worse than your last 2 starters.

They should be able to hit Jaime a bit I would think. If not then they are REALLY slumping.

Good to see Jaime back out on the bump. Need to keep the hitting up from the last 2 games and give him some run support.

Grichuk is so fricking good. Jay will be traded soon, unless Bourjos gets a better return.

The Mets announcers love the Cards center fielder.

Grichuk is going to be a stud, we robbed the Angels blind in that Freese trade.

Great job to limit any real damage, bunch of weak hits finding holes that inning.

Got to love only giving up 2 Runs. The walks are a little high for my liking. But all things considered a very solid start and something to build on and look forward to establishing a 5th starter in the rotation. Now if only we could make their pitcher break a sweat, it would be nice.

Sad thing is you say that as a joke and how many times did we go to him last year in the postseason and will still go to him this year in meaningful spots.

Oh well, lousy short term result, promising for the long run (and by long run wrt Garcia I mean maybe he can pitch a few games before he gets hurt again).
