What a beautiful defensive back to watch. Before Revis, Haden, Sherman and Peterson, there was Sean Taylor.

Was just coming on here to make a tribute thread.

He would've been the greatest. The numbers he was putting up before he got murdered that season were silly.

Today's pussification rules would have impacted him the most. He was as violent as it got. That dude was a LB, CB, S all in one package.

And Cowherd and Jason Whitlock blamed him for his own death. Damn shame.

That FSU game where field was a swamp was one the first non-LSU games that I remember being absolutely locked into.

The real shame is fans who become so enamored with a guy's play on the field that they turn a blind eye to their off the field transgressions

This is the same Sean Taylor who pulled a gun and threatened to kill a kid who he thought stole his atv.. Among numerous other troubling things

Great player nonetheless

How many years did he play in the NFL? Like 4? How can he be an all time great? I think the way in which he was killed and his career ended makes his career seem better to some than it really is.

The dude was playing out of his mind. Of course he can't be considered one of the all time greatest due to his death but one has an argument that he was well on his way
