I enjoy this spectacle more than most regular season NFL games.

It's always fun to find out actual heights and 40 times of players.

RGIII had questions about size but officially weighs in at 223lbs and 6'2 3/8.

Russell Willson is 5'10 5/8 (not suprising)

Jordan Jefferson comes in at 6'4 223lbs (i thought he'd be bigger).

Luck and RGIII won't participate in throwing drills but will run.

How big were you expecting JJ to be?

nothing chaps my arse more than hearing a guy labeled a 4.3 guy his whole college career only to run a 4.6 at the combine.

same with 6'4 guys who are really 6.5'

Yeah...the Combine track is a disappointment to everyone...it's actually accurate. Everyone in CFB is suddenly slower.

I really thought he'd be closer to 6'6 and weigh about 230.

The combine is intresting for about two seconds until you realize its the same broadcast as the Westminster dog show. Having NFL announcers whisper in my ear about how disappointing someones 40 time was just isnt entertaining to me

I agree. Wide receivers who can't time under 4.6 in the 40 will star in the NFL.

yep.

Curious to see what RGIII runs since he is often described as having "world class" speed.

Dude was 17 and damn near made the Olympic team in the 400m hurdles.....you don't have to run a 4.2 to have world class speed.

I know you didn't. Your statement, though, seems to be repeated by every "expert" in the business. A receiver who may have been a beast in college suddenly runs "slow", with no helmet and pads, track shoes and tight spandex, you start hearing how disappointed scouts are.

Listen to Mayock, then. He does a great job balancing workout times and tape, IMO.
