Say you are the GM of the Bengals, what do you do with Marvin Lewis

Here you have a man who has been able to consistently field a winning football team who usually makes the playoffs. He is the second longest tenured coach in the league behind Belicheck. Only problem is, he has yet to win a playoff game after 12 years. Do you continue to give him another year, hoping he can figure it out even though he has shown no signs he can win when it counts? Or do you count your losses and look in a new direction, even though the new direction is not a guaranteed upgrade by any means.

They have a lot of talent, a coaching change is probably what is needed

I get him a better QB. He is a solid coach.

My FIL is a huge Bungals fans. He says that the owner likes Marvin Lewis because he takes all of the heat so he keeps him around.

IF I were the Owner/GM I would tell a bunch of undrafted rookie free agents to bring me hot sluts to have sex with and i will guarantee you a roster spot. I'd have the shittest team in the league but I'd be getting laid tho.

If you could afford to be an owner why would you need to have crappy NFL players bring you sloots. Just hire an assistant and have that be his job to find you some.

Considering how much better Marvin Lewis is than the coaches after Wyche, I'd keep him.

Winning in Cincy is like winning at Mississippi State.

They gotta fire him. Even though he took them to the playoffs 4 straight years, they have never won a game and they won't get any better with him.

What do you do with Dalton is the question. He's been absolutely atrocious.

It depends on their expectations, if he was the Titans coach Id want him gone but I have a championship or bust mentality and even the the Titans/oilers franchise history isn't great it's still a good bit better than the bengals especially since 1990 so I would understand if they don't want to rock the boat

Pretty obvious at this point he isn't going to get them to a super bowl

Again, it's up to them but I don't see him suddenly turning into an elite QB. Problem here is they aren't gonna be able to replace him with anyone better this offseason even if they wanted to.

Idk his contract situation but might be best to ride it out another year with him
