Saquon Barkley is one of the best college football players I've ever seen

I literally expect him to score every time he touches it. Haven't felt like that about a skill position player since Reggie Bush.

So much fun to watch

He runs like a Trent Richardson, only faster and stronger. I'm sure his work ethic is better also.

5 touches for 15 yards and 0 TDs, and you choose to say this...

Fun to watch. Reminds me of a slightly slower Barry Sanders-- not so much the elusiveness, which is very good, but the ability to do things like absorb contact and keep moving forward out of a speed move, rather than a power move.

Not impressed by McCaffrey's highlights

Very much benefited from excellent blocking and absolutely atrocious D's. especially when Cal's d was bad. Against good defenses he didn't score or do much but it's whatever

Eh, watch longer.

The only person I've ever felt that about was Leonard F. Two years ago I thought he was gonna score every time he got it. Auburn game was insane. So was Syracuse

He opened the game with a 98 kick off return for a TD

I saw that and a 98yd KO return is impressive, but if a KO return is going to lead to this kind of hyperbole then we should have crowned Trindon Holliday years ago.

He ran the opening kickoff back 100 yards for a TD

It's around 25% of their total offense at this point. Can't just look at totals without context. When they open up he will have the biggest chunk. He already made a huge play on special teams.

Iowa's defense was really good two years ago, and he shredded them almost every time he touched it.

Well then you should watch the catch and run he just had. Ridiculous.

He is as NFL ready as any running back I've ever seen, a complete back in the mold of the previous Penn State RB greats dating back to Lenny Moore. He does everything for that Penn State team except playing quarterback, it's been a complete joy to watch him perform.

KiJana Carter and Larry Johnson were just as good. Maybe Curtis Enis too.

I don't think any of the guys you named were as complete as Barkley. Maybe Carter.
