I have a unique perspective.
I got my Masters at UL
I'm in a PhD program at LSU.
I can't find any of these UL-obsessed folks like the OP here on campus. Most seem to have much better things to do.
I figure they must be the LSU-Walmart bandwagon fans who never attended the university.

Generally the most obsessed ones on here are southernelite(McNeese), fleaux (ULM), and GED guys like diat and kickadawgitfeelsgood. That's about how it goes IRL too. Lots of the New Iberia haircut / oil field crowd hates the Cajuns and loves their Tigahs.

But Coach Hud is a great coach capable of leading a major college football program like Moo State. Not obsessing, just one who has a good memory re all the BS Cajun fans have been spouting on the Coaching Changes board about how great he is as a HC.

This is generally true from my experience. Most LSU grads don't have the butthurt that is seen here by a vocal minority

I'm definitely not obsessed with anything other than taking care of my kids. This year has actually been more peaceful on this board as there haven't been a whole lot of Cajun/name/penis envy from whoever threads . It would have been real easy for me or anyone else to start a bunch of threads just to stir up shite but it hasn't happened...... Cheers!
