20 year old kid doing dumb shite. I bet you don't look back at some of the shite you did when you were younger and regret it.

If I wasn't watching him score touchdowns I was watching him be a complete jackass. Don't blame me, go harass the media. I can't stand him. If I knew him, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like him. I was nothing like Jameis Winston when I was 20.

. We all know what Hoyer can do over a full season and it's not anything great, we still don't know what Mallett can really do though. For that reason alone I wanted him to start.

That's fan logic right there. The known commodity is always going to get preference, all things being equal. If Mallett was showing the staff that he was more capable in practice, he'd be starting.

Right or wrong, NFL coaches get longer leashes for failing while doing the expected than they do for failing while trying something new.

Homeboy needs to drop the wanker eminem accent. Won't be successful until he does.

He's probably still snorting anything and everything thats out there.

And saying he's somehow different than Jamies is laughable. Their both cut form the exact same thread.

Mallet and Mettenberger should become best buddies.

cuz he talks with an accent? I don't think so... just my opinion. And if Mallett was a habitual coke user I doubt he'd be in a heated QB battle right now. Or would have been the under study at New England, for that matter. Pretty sure BB runs a tight ship.

Practice squads are filled with mid-round picks who have NFL arms and NCAA brains. That explains Mallett well enough.

I also think it will probably catch up with Winston eventually although as an A&M fan I also know chucking it to Mike Evans can make up for a lot of mistakes

yea... he wasn't just good in Petrino's system though. He dominated. His low draft grade was apparently "character issues". I'm gonna keep holding my breath.

Holy shite, an Arkansas fan that is objective . I'm amazed that someone would even confuse that trashy way of talking for an "accent".

Right I figure that Hoyer won the job in practice because in the games neither has really stood out as significantly better than the other.

The unknown will always be intriguing when the known is somewhere between average to below average though.

No matter what I don't think either QB is the long term solution for them.

A lot of Petrino's stuff was confusing defenses and attacking zones. I imagine that let Malett bomb it early and often and just let receivers get under it a lot of the time. A lot of Mallett's success was definitely coaching.

Brian Brahm, Stefan LeFlour, Ryan Mallet, Tyler Wilson

All lit it up in college, but never really made it in the NFL. Mallett has the best shot because he has a big arm.

Compare their contracts and it's a no brainier that Hoyer would be the starter.

On-field intelligence is not an issue for Winston at all. It's all off-the-field/maturity concern.
