Rumor: Browns, Eagles Discussing Trade Involving Johnny Manziel And Sam Bradford

Any one can read the defense under Kelly's simple system. Sounds like he is trying to get Manziel and Mariota. The two were almost both at Oregon. That could be a fun battle.

This sounds kind of dumb, but I don't think you have to be able to read defenses to qb Kelly's Eagles. You are back at the LOS so quickly that the earpiece is still on for a good bit of time and the coaches are reading whatever defense the opposing team manages to get into for you.

Not sure what's worse: needlessly taking on Manziel even though you're trying to trade up for a QB or the same organization spending 1st rd picks on Trent Richardson, Brandon Weeden, Johnny Manziel, and Sam Bradford in a 4 year period.

Why would any team in their right mind want Manziel AND Marioto? What a shite show that would be. It makes no sense whatsoever.

I think it was ESPN who also has an article on it. But they said the Browns offered 1st round pick alone for Bradford, and then threw in Manziel as well after their first offer. It just doesn't make sense why Chip would take Manziel. I mean the Eagles traded back last year to let the Browns take him. If the Eagles didn't want him last year, why would they want him this year?
