I'm hoping to grab him late as a fantasy sleeper. Any of yall think he'll put up some points?

Not early on. Just take a wait and see approach. He's starting out deep on the depth chart if/when he makes the team, barring injuries.

He'll be my last WTF pick, but if he doesn't get a shot after the first couple weeks, I'll release him. I'm thrilled he is excelling, it will do good for the reputation of rugby player's athleticism.

So the very best rugby player from Australia is struggling to make a 53-man roster as a backup during the preseason? lol @ rugby and their inferior athletes.

Stop it. He's been playing very well. No reason to troll rugby fans. He will make the team. Take into account he's still learning the game. They have to make sure he doesn't just start tossing the ball backwards randomly

I know it's more just to make my friends go WTF when I pick him. I wouldn't be shocked if they gave him a few carries and treated him like a change of pace back rather than a pure backup.

The best rugby league player who has never played football in his life is about to make an NFL team. The ex football players who try rugby don't even sniff the U.S. national team, which loses by 50 to the top teams. It's not enough in rugby to be a physical freak, you need major ball skills. I'm not a rugby over football guy, but you don't need years of specialized training to make it in football like other sports, physical gifts are enough.

Would love to see some NFL guys go try Rugby or Australian Rules Football and get fricking drilled wearing no pads. They would quit with the quickness.

There is a link about halfway down on page 1 that has embedded GIFs. The 49ers are a joke this year but this dude could make them fun to watch.

Dude is pretty dang good considering its his first crack US football. He runs rather upright, but doesnt gets rocked, or hasnt yet. Hes a big guy though with some wheels. I hope he sticks somewhere because he will be an instant crowd favorite.
