Saw this and the Deadspin coverage. Let me get this right. He was demoted to the D League but isn't going. SKips practice with Houston as well, but wants to stay in Houston?
Is that right? If so, I agree with the Rockets beat writer. He wants to use his anxiety as an excuse to not move to a small town and play in front of hundreds of yawning spectators.
