We've already lost twice in the actual World Series. I'd rather lose in the Wild Card then ever have to deal with that again.

You're looking at in a vacuum. Bautista punked the Rangers bitch asses so bad last year that their fans were still salty about it 7 months later.

Believe what you want, but this couldn't be further from the truth. There wasn't a moment in any of the games where the time to do it was 'right'. Every game was close and there were not garbage at-bats.

When it came down to it, they took care of business. If he didn't want to be hit don't showboat the shite out of a home run that isn't a walk off. He knew when he did that shite that he likely was going to pay for it, nobody has to put a timer on when it happens.

I think this is the point. Texas was mad about it but not so mad that they would risk retaliation against themselves. When the Cubs and Stros had beef, the Cubs threw at Roger Clemens in a game 2 of a three game set in Houston. That's playing the game the right way. Not doing something because you are scared of what might happen is the definition of being a pussy.

I didn't say not doing it in game 1 made them pussies. Yes. You can't deny it. But it shouldn't be that big of a deal. Athletes showboat all the time in football, basketball, soccer, etc. and no one cares. The "victims" of the showboating get temporarily mad but they quickly suck it up and move on like grown arse men, not hold a grudge for 7 months.
