Ben Roethlisberger expected to miss at least 4 weeks with knee injury, source tells ESPN. He will undergo an MRI Monday; hoping ACL intact.
Big news for the Steelers if the MRI comes back okay.

MRI revealed Ben Roethlisberger did not tear his ACL, but he sprained his MCL and now is expected to miss "probably 6 weeks," per source.

Great news for Stillers if so - and the win today to keep pace. He had a season, maybe career-done look on his face when they carted him off.

Updated OP.
Big Ben has sprained MCL.
Out 6 weeks.
Obviously the Steelers will be without him for a while, but they dodged a bullet today.

Guy never breaks completely. Kind of crazy.

Hes gonna probably miss both Ravens games, and a Bengals game.
Bengals might run away with the division during that time.

I'm not a knee doctor, will this effect his mobility for the rest of the year? That's a large part of his game.

It's Roethlisberger. I wouldn't be surprised if he only misses 2 games. He has played through some extremely painful injuries throughout his career.
Ironic that they have to replace one of the toughest QBs in the league with one of the most fragile. If he really does miss 6 weeks, Cincinnati is gonna run away and hide with that division.

Mobility really hasn't been his game at all since Haley came in
Posted on 9/27/15 at 9:06 pm to Jcorye1
Possibly, but hes not that "mobile" to begin with.
Hes good at navigating and stepping up in the pocket.

What's the cut off for them to shut him down for the season? If they are 2-7 when he comes back, do they risk him getting more hits on a shaky knee?
