Used to love this thing but it appears last year was it's final run. I did find this little gizmo which isn't nearly as cool but it's a little something to help pass the time if you're bored.

LINK

I just gave it a test run and it gave me a final 4 of Kansas, oregon, indiana, and iowa state.

This is cool. I have Cal, Baylor, West Virginia and Virginia with Virginia winning it all.

The blind bracket was great! As usual, they tried to fix something that wasn't broken. I suspect people bitched because the "blind bracket" took to long, and they wanted the results spoon feed to them.

Virginia and Purdue have popped up the most for me as winning it all.

What were some of y'alls metrics?

I DGAS about tourney experience and I leaned more heavily on offense than defense. I gave a pretty big emphasis on 3 pointers and free throws.

I went a decent amount on tourney experience, O slightly more than D, Post play slightly more than 3, and FT slightly more than steals/turnovers. And the madness meter at avg which i think is the big variable.

Ended up with UNC, MSU, OU, and KU. They rest of the bracket did not have many upsets.

defense over offense.

low on 3pt%, low on size, heavy on experience, fts, steals

low on the madness

duke bias off

I just know, at least from watching UGA play teams like kentucky, that you can have a stellar defense but if the other team is bombing 3s there's simply nothing you can do. Obviously, that can be a downfall as well since if you're off you're done for, but I felt like giving the 3 preference. I also went fairly low on the madness meter...I didn't want straight chalk but I didn't want a bunch of 14 seeds in the elite 8 either.

Maryland, Oklahoma, Sparty, and Wisconsin. Sparty winning it all.

It actually did help me with some of my downline picks I'd been thinking about.

I ran one.

If this came true, the college basketball world would lose their damn minds and cities would burn without Donald Trump speeches.

It gave me my final four that I picked (OU, KU, UNC, Utah) and had Kansas winning the championship, which I also had.

It told me A&M would win the title, and that just won't do, so I changed my parameters
