Fowler closed round 3 of the Irish Open today in the strangest fashion imaginable. He eagles the driveable 16th. He 2 OB on the par 4 17th and 1 OB on the part 5 18th. The Eagle had just put him into contention.Discuss.

Better than Victor Dubisson's round of 84 yesterday. Links golf with brutal wind ain't easy.

Wind caught his flatbill cap in his backswings on 17 & 18. Golf Gods trying to tell him something.
