And other various races like the g1 Cotillion. Will I have anyone else gambling with me?

I hate the retiring of horses at 3, so I'm glad he's planning to run next year. His front left foot is so turned out its crazy. His conformation + sort of undesirable pedigree mean he won't stand for a ton anyway. Maybe $25,000-$30,000 unless he wins the breeders cup.

I seriously doubt he getst hat much unless he wins the BC. Without the BC He's a multiple grade 1 winner. He's not really all that much different than big brown / smarty jones in that shite pedigree / freak horse, and he'sn ot ghsotzapper/ curlin freak of nature to over come that.

Except that neither big brown or smarty jones have been amazing stallions. Both started their stud careers much higher than $25,000 but have dropped considerably based on what was produced. I'm just talking his initial year. If he had a more attractive pedigree he'd start much higher.

You would pick 2 horses I hated

Apparently they've ironed the track out and speed is carrying

Bayern may get the same speed bias he had in the Haskell and steal this one

that's what i'm saying. I think the farms are not going to be as quick to buy on the hype... fool me once...

One thing I like about the crop of good horses is that none of them are particularly well bred. means they generally stick around longer.

I bet he stays in Cali.

Let me add that it is an inside speed bias. Maybe chrome hustles out to the lead and it carries him.

I hate when tracks change for big race days

I love Bayern but CC has more natrual speed than he does and I don't see the speed being a factor. i think you have to look really really hard at Tapiture. he can sit off the pace and make a late run. i think if CC was in form he could take the speed from Bayern and draw off, but i think he's a race away from being in form again. This is a true tune up race IMHO

Who do like on the undercard?
I guess Chrome and Bayern will be even money at post. If I can remember I might have to check it out.

I think so too. I almost feel bad for him if he loses because it is set up to get him fit for the breeders cup, but the public will rip him apart. What do you know about mcpeek's horse?

Fast ana in the gallant bob

utappable is about 5 lengths.. at least.. better than any other 3YO filly in the country when she's healthy. I would seriously consider her today in the Derby

pretty chalky day overall

I'm sure fast Anna will run away with the gallant bob, but I'm interested in the 4 horse.

I will wps on Cassatt in the cotillion. She's run some slow races, but she had a lot of promise when I saw her at fg this winter.

Btw, to those who follow the hubby's horses, he is possibly taking a new job that would start at keeneland. I don't want to say anything until it is set in stone, but I hope he likes kittens!

I will miss Gantry :(
