This is great news! Hopefully this becomes a trend, and an impetus to force a move back to San Diego.

Yeah they couldn't move back to San Diego without a new owner.

I'm pretty sure the Spanos family paid like hundreds of millions in relocation fees, so unless they get reimbursed for that somehow, I don't know how it would work.

It's like the NFL completely forgot why teams had to abandon LA in the first place.

The NFL deserves to have this blow up in their face.

Douchenozzle.

It's a meritocracy and capitalistic system, unless of course you're a billionaire NFL owner. Then you get revenue sharing and a salary cap

The Chargers and the Rams are hyping a "battle for L.A. fans" while Mark Davis of the Raiders said, "we won that battle 30 years ago."

I don't get why the Chargers wouldn't have a lot of fans in L.A. considering the Chargers were the closest team to L.A... just right down the road in San Diego.

When you charge $50 to park, $15 for a beer, people wont show up.

It must be something with the owner. Even when they played in San Diego, there were always lots of visiting fans. It always sounded like another Raiders home game when they played there.

Are they going to pay the owners the valuation difference between 400-600 million dollars? Chargers aren't going back to that crappy stadium, and SD isn't paying 40% for a new one, especially now.

They are your problem now, LA.

The Rams and Raiders left because they wouldn't build a new stadium at tax payer expense no lack of fan support and the only reason the Chargers left SD was because they wouldn't build a new stadium. What no one apparently ever considered was if fans would support the team.

San Diego has terrible fans, a huge transplant population with all the military folks, and is typically the best option for fans to travel to to watch their team.

If they had hired a competent firm before this, they would have been told so.

Hell they probably did and ignored it anyway

And they shouldn't have. Tax payers shouldn't build your assets. They don't do it for any other business.
