The media wanted to crown Matt Barkley Heisman, #1 draft pick, greatest QB ever when they beat Ohio State in the Shoe in 2009 because they scored on a last minute drive.
Barkley threw like, one pass on that final drive. McKnight did all the work but Barkley got 100% of the credit. No wonder that team lost 5 games that year, probably a lot of locker room tension for Barkley being the darling of that winning drive.

I know the Rosen hype was way over the top, but I did like his physical attributes last night. Although some dumb mistakes (early pick 6) are frustrating, gotta remember he is a true freshman playing in a solid conference.

He's still having an incredible true freshman season and will probably have a great career at UCLA. His defense sucks arse, so that doesn't help much. I would love to have him at LSU.

i think they are making a mistake throwing him to the wolves like they are now and are messing up his confidence. he's really a year away from being able to adjust to the speed. but he's got all the tools
