Recount a one in a million sporting feat that you witnessed in real life

You can be direct or obscure with this one. And it can have beneficial or negative outcomes.
Mine: I was playing tennis in a gym once. Over in the middle of the gym on the wall was a shallow wicker half-basket mounted at chest height to the wall to hold little items. There is no way this basket could catch and hold a tennis ball.
So, my first return and I stick the ball in this little basket, and the only way possible: The ball had to hit the wall directly behind the basket and bounce at an angle to pry the basket from inside off the wall.
One in a million shot. Bad shot, but still really rare.
Have fun with this!

May not meet the criteria, but Gleason's punt block against ATL first night back in the Dome.
Still the loudest I've ever heard it get. I hear the NFC Championship game was much louder, but I wasn't there for that one.

At a lock in for the baseball team in high school, a teammate nonchalantly kicked a basketball into a basketball goal from the other side of the court (sideline to sideline though, not baseline to baseline).
My freshman year we had a guy dunk on the wrong goal. I don't know how many times a white guy in a small rural high school has dunked on the wrong goal though. Called him "Wrong Way" for the rest of the year.

I pitched a golf ball back towards the golf cart and it bounced once on the path and then stuck in the ball holder mounted in the dash next to the cup holders
What are the chances

I saw Ron Dayne break the all time college rushing record.
Maybe not one in a million, but still big.

If you mean I had to be there in person, it would be:
LSU/Auburn 2007
If mean anything I watched on television, it would be:
Buster Douglas/Mike Tyson fight

I saw a chick at a girls JV basketball game shoot it from full-court at the end of the quarter... the ball bounced around the free-throw line and went in the hoop for a triple

Scoring a td in field goal range isnt exactly once in a lifetime stuff. It the pass is incomplete there is 3 seconds left and lsu kicks a fg.

Saw AD's three-point buzzer beater to take down the Thunder this year. That shot was unreal
